Scott and Sara Faulkner were inspired to think about designing and building energy efficient homes after living on the periphery of Snowdonia National Park in Wales, an area rich with sustainable living development. Both had backgrounds in the arts as well as construction and after sketching up some initial design concepts in their old farmhouse on a Welsh hillside, in 2010 the couple decided it was time to move to East Hampton to pursue their dream.

Scott, originally from the States, had kept a boat in Three Mile Harbor for years and the family had spent many summers out on the water so had come to know and love the area well. Their goal was to build stylish homes with a smart efficient use of space along with being energy efficient that were sensitive to their natural surroundings while creating harmonious spaces for indoor / outdoor living.

This dream became a reality in the spring of 2015 when they broke ground on the first Smart Home. They have now designed and built six gorgeous homes for very happy new homeowners and have more exciting projects in the pipeline for 2024.
