5 DOGWOOD DRIVE

Combining the incredible insulation of SIP’s, an Air Source Heat pump and a high output wood stove, utility costs remain extremely low during both winter and summer months. This compact but spacious house has been cleverly designed and finished to an exceptionally high standard allowing for plenty of shared open plan social space.  A palette of natural materials and textures create a warm yet modern living space in harmony with its natural surroundings. The minimalist white kitchen is complemented with Caesar Stone counter tops and a large island. A pass-through window to the covered front porch is the ideal setting for summer dining. The 1240 sq. ft. ground floor is completed with two good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Both bedrooms lead out to a wrap-around mahogany veranda and deck area. A bespoke staircase leads to the lower level, where 9-foot ceilings and large egress windows and a sliding door  await the imagination of a home owner for a multitude of expansion options should they choose. Exterior cladding materials combine ‘clear cedar’ with the use of stucco to add textural contrast.
